The “Nazarbayev University Butterfly Garden” project involves creation of a designated area for butterfly habitat in the northeast corner of the campus. The area will be fenced off with ornamental fencing, and there will be a signboard with information about butterflies, pollination, and the ecological importance of pollinators. The garden will be monitored over the summer (2021) and butterfly species visiting the garden will be recorded.
